Makes: 1 small bowl
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup water
1/2 cup milk of your choice
2 tablespoons The Carob Kitchen Carob Syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
To Serve:
Extra Carob Syrup of course!
A couple of sneaky pieces of The Carob Kitchen Carob Milk Bars or Banjo himself (watch him melt!)
Fresh berries of your choice
Method:
Heat all ingredients in a small saucepan over a medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce the heat to a low simmer and allow the oats to simmer for around 8-10 minutes or until soft and the porridge is cooked to your liking.
Serve with an extra drizzle of Carob Syrup, fresh berries and some sneaky chunks of Carob for the ultimate weekend brekkie treat.
