Serves: 1 tall glass

Frappe:
2 tbsp coconut syrup or coconut cream
2 tbsp hot chocolate powder or cacao
1 scoop vanilla or coconut ice cream
½ cup ice
¾ cup milk of your choice
1 cup frozen cherries

To Serve:
Whipped cream
Fresh cherry (optional)
Shaved chocolate

  • Add all ingredients except the frozen cherries to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
    Pour the frappe into a tall glass.
    Add the frozen cherries to the blender and blend until thick and crumbly, adding a splash of water if needed to help blend.
    Spoon the cherry layer over the frappe.
    Top with whipped cream, a fresh cherry and shaved chocolate.
    Serve immediately.

    • Swap dairy milk for almond or oat milk for a lighter flavour.

    • For a vegan version, use coconut ice cream and dairy-free whipped cream.

    • Drizzle extra chocolate syrup inside the glass for a decadent presentation.
